LLK to donate pizza profits to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice!
Oldham based Pizza Equipment Company Linda Lewis Kitchens are delighted to be working with a local charity, Dr Kershaw’s Hospice of Turf Lane, Oldham at their annual Summer Fair on Sunday 11th June.
This year’s Summer Fair promises to be bigger than ever with Business Development Manager Jenna Lewis and her partner Will Pilling, LLK’s North West Service Manager serving delicious wood-fired pizza out of the company’s mobile pizza oven Franco’s Little Kitchen, with all profits going to the charity.
The Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults with non-curable, life-limiting illnesses in a peaceful and homely environment. This kind of care is appropriate for patients at all stages of illness, including those undergoing treatment for symptom control or rehabilitation as well as patients who are nearing the end of life.
The annual summer fair which features all kinds of stalls, from craft and cake stalls to traditional tombola stalls collectively help to raise vital funds for the charity to ensure that care and support can be given to patients and their families in the local community that visit the hospice year round. Entrance to the event is charged at £1.00 per adult and children are free of charge.
