Happy International Women’s Day!

International Women’s Day is the day we celebrate women of all shapes and sizes, ethnicities, abilities and backgrounds from all over the world. This year, we are celebrating the women of LLK who have played an integral role in making this business the success it is today.

LLK has an even weight of male and female employees and, as an equal opportunities employer, LLK strongly believes in ensuring every employee has equal opportunity to progress and succeed. Today, we are shouting out even louder about the accomplishments of the ladies of LLK over the past 13 years.

Linda Lewis is the brains behind LLK- She launched the eponymous ‘Linda Lewis Kitchens’ in 2006 and, in the years since, her entrepreneurial skills have earned her the title of Oldham’s Business Woman of the Year. She now employs 13 members of staff from within the borough of Oldham. As LLK has grown, it has become a force to be reckoned with in the catering equipment industry and is now Cuppone’s number one vendors of their pizza equipment range. LLK’s success has been driven by Linda’s commitment to providing customers with the best service possible.

Jenna Lewis sits on our board as LLK’s Commercial Director. Jenna has held multiple roles within LLK and whole-heartedly embodies the company ethos of commitment to our customers. Recently back from maternity leave, Jenna is driving LLK into the future and is currently implementing new business development areas including our new export solutions.

Natalie White has been working at LLK for over 10 years and is practically built into the foundations. Starting as an apprentice, Natalie has advanced her way through the business to the role of Dealer Account Manager. She is the point of contact for all our dealers looking to learn more about LLK products and to place orders- not to mention that she’s also the head of our sales team!

Grace Carr has worked at LLK for just under 3 years- she started her career as Digital Marketing Executive and quickly took over all of LLK’s marketing and communications. She has recently been promoted to the role of LLK’s Marketing and Events Manager which involves overseeing the Marketing Department at LLK.
Chloe Lewis also started her LLK journey as an apprentice and was even given the prestigious title of ‘Star Apprentice’ by the Apprentice Academy. Since starting at LLK, Chloe (or C-Dog as she has come to be known) has transferred into our Service and Spares Department which has seen significant developments as a result of all her hard work.

This year alone, LLK were proud to welcome two new wonderful women to our fabulous team that have fit in seamlessly. Georgia Woodhouse joined us first to take on the role of LLK’s Customer Care Co-ordinator- since starting, Georgia has not only been named LLK’s Brew Queen after winning the LLK Brew Off, she has also fronted our Customer Care Department which involves ensuring our end-users are given all the support they need to succeed.

Finally we have Cat Pollitt. Cat has joined LLK as our Marketing Assistant and has done a wonderful job bringing the ideas of our Marketing Team to life (just check out our Instagram @llkltd !). Cat originally came to us for a work experience placement and Grace loved her so much we offered her a job on the spot!

Being a part of the family that is Team LLK is a huge honour for both the female and male staff- over the years we have seen incredibly growth, become an award-winning business and show no signs of stopping, proving that when every team member is given the opportunity and support to have their voice heard and their contributions celebrated, the outcome is success and fulfilment for all.
