An international YouGov study of more than 25,000 people in 24 countries finds that pizza and pasta are the most popular foods in the world. Italian cuisine received an average popularity score of 84% across the 24 nations studied. (statistics by YouGov) As staggering as this stat is, it makes sense- have you ever met someone that didn’t like pizza?!

4. Pizza is perfect for every market.

Whether your customers are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, pescatarian or dairy free, the versatility of pizza means it can be crafted bespoke to the requirements and taste buds of just about anyone. Omit the mozzarella for vegan and dairy free customers, swap your pizza base for a gluten free version for gluten free clientele, hold the carne toppings and make the veggies rain for vegetarian pizza lovers etc. etc. Every customer who walks through the door can be accommodated at your operation when pizza is on the menu.
